2009 05 11 - Aya pictures! ^_^
I woke up to quite a wonderful email this morning! :) One of the maintainers of Fans de SweetS y Hello! Proejct Kids sent the following pictures from Aya's live into my inbox (click for larger ^^):

Also, Tani updated us on the fact that Aya will be performing in "Utahime Live" sometime in the future. I don't know what that is but look at all the things we're learning! XD I'll keep you all posted as I find out! ^_^ (And at this rate, Aya's going to expand into her own fansite too, woo hoo~)
2009 05 07 - Aya's results + sitely updates + summer project
So the results are in (thanks again to Tani from SweetSdesu! ^^), and Aya didn't win the Grand Prix, but she did win the People's Choice Award! :) So yay for being most popular among the audience, ne? I'm happy she won that and I hope this inspires her further in her career. :D News has it that the song had a difficult tune and she sung and dance. Yay, Aya! The song was written for a friend in high school. There aren't any recordings or pictures on it that I know of yet. T_T Buuut at least she did something.
Oh, and like year-late Aki news: she did a live performance with EXILE PROFESSIONAL GYM last year. Miori now belongs to Stardust, Mai belongs to STS DANCE SCHOOL... Where's Haruna at? :(
In sitely news, all translations are back up and running, and I've fixed the majority of broken links that I've been notified about. ^^; Please alert me if there are any more you see. I'm so sorry I've been terrible about fixing these things lately! Also, the Precious Memories DVD is up here! And at long last, the Delicious ~Complete Best~ graduation footage is up! ^^; I feel awful that those haven't gotten up sooner!
Also, recently, many people have been contacting me in hopes of recovering SweetS files that they've lost. I've decided to launch a summer project in which I attempt to get as much archived on this site to promote SweetS' legacy as possible. I'm going to work on putting up all the Channel-A, Platinum Ticket, Barks, and other videos I can piece together. If there's anything anyone can contribute, please don't hesitate to step forward. Even if it's something like pictures I don't have, including anything from their former official site, as that's gone now! ^^ I'd also like to have these things for new fans to help them get into SweetS, as recently I've noticed a sudden revival in their popularity (probably due to C-ute's new single Shochuu Omimai Moushiagemasu XD) and new fans contacting me. (: So keep an eye out for that. I want to make this site as thorough and accurate as possible. <3
2009 05 01 - Aya News!
At long last, we finally have an update on Aya! :D She's performing in Orc200's 13th Vocal Queen competition. Click here to see her profile! She's performing an original song called "Dear Friends" on May 4. In her profile she says that she's been singing for a long time, and has gained experience through different singing activities. To her, "Singing" = "source of happiness". :D I'm so happy she's finally doing something! ♥ And I hope we get some footage on this. ^^ That would be great. (^^ Thank you once again to Tani from SweetSdesu for alerting us to this wonderful news!)
Also, I'm updating the navigation to the left to mirror the girls as they expand to their own solo careers; to view their separate fansites, it'll be under "SweetS ARE". :) Of course, there's only Miichan, but that seems a bit neater! ^^ Oh, and if you're on Facebook, join the SweetS group! :D Let's unite, rawr!
2009 04 08 - Introducing Miitastic
I've finally started up a fansite just for Mii-chan. :) I figured it was about time, because organising this site as she does her own things would just be ridiculous. So Mienai Tsubasa is going to stay strictly SweetS. Consequently, I probably won't be updating unless it's something pertaining to SweetS as an active group, or to update on another branch-off website. Thanks for continuing to visit, though! You all are great and it makes me happy to see the continued and growing support of SweetS.
